Molex, Aquantia Partner in Name of Multi-Gigabit Automotive Ethernet
The multi-gigabit Ethernet era is upon us. And with the network taking center stage in this phase of network modernization multi-gigabit Ethernet is no longer optional. Recently, Aquantia and Molex announced a partnership, which put Aquantia Multi-Gigabit Automotive Ethernet tech in a Molex 10 Gbps Automotive Ethernet Network, and is aimed at lending a boost to data bandwidth in autonomous and connected cars. The newly minted pairing put its efforts on display at CES, offering a vision of what the IoT era has in store.

Molex is maneuvering for a future filled with connected and autonomous cars by bringing Aquantia multi-gigabit Ethernet technology on board. With the Aquantia chip in place, a secure base for an in-vehicle network capable of transporting massive amounts of data between Electronic Control Units (ECUs) is now ready to support the incoming barrage.
The 10Gbps Automotive Ethernet Network from Moles supports both legacy and up-and-coming technologies in order to enable user-friendly integration to gain the capabilities of diagnostics over IP (DoIP) as well as software and firmware updates.
